The Ambassadors' Club

Created in 2005, this Club is made up of British people who have integrated successfully in Limousin (a local advisor, a vice president of the tourist information centre, a company manager) and of French people (Presidents of French-English associations) who work to create links between the two communities.

The aim of the Club is to gather people living in the three departments of Limousin so that they can share their points of view and discuss their own experiences. You can find on the website all the addresses and contact numbers of those ambassadors.

Entente Cordiale Association :

Entente Cordiale 'Vivre Ensemble' is an organisation created in March 2005 by Dominique Johnson and her father, Roger Feugère. Its aim is : sharing, exchange and integration between the inhabitants of the Limousin and the new arrivals from abroad.

It has been evident from the start that the association has aroused much interest, thanks to the many articles published in the national press, radio interviews and of course, the number of members that attend the events organised each month.

The association also offers an information service for all those who have problems with the French administrative system as well as acting as an intermediary with other existing associations.

Today, Entente Cordiale 'Vivre Ensemble' has about 200 members. It has recently opened an English library in Dun-le-Palestel, open two days a week, and is also used as a meeting place for Entente Cordiale members.

For more information on the association and its activities, please contact: David Johnson, President (English/French):  from France 05 55 89 16 54 or 05 55 89 14 61.
