From 18th june to 26th september 2010 : Exhibition about the history of Ceramic
"De terre et de feu, l'aventure de la céramique européenne à Limoges"

Since 1000 years, Limoges is the capital of "Arts du Feu" (fire arts) : porcelain, earthenware, stoneware, enamel.

This exhibition is organised by the city of Limoges in order to promote the production of nine Europeans ceramic centres : Limoges (France), Delft (Netherlands), Stoke-on-Trent (England), Selb (Germany), Castellon (Spain), Séville (Spain), Aveiro (Portugal), Pécs (Hungary), Faenza (Italy).

You will find : history of ceramic, explanations about the different types of ceramic, remarkables objects, ...
